Hundreds of travel agencies presented their services at the largest in Scandinavia world tourist industry exhibition which opened in Helsinki.

A wide variety of services on organization of recreation and business events is offered by Russian regions. The exhibition visitors are able to get acquainted with river cruises in the central Russia, routes to cultural and natural monuments of Karelia, Murmansk area, St.-Petersburg. According to the Russian participant of the exhibition Sergey Lesogorsky, lately not only foreign tourists are interested in dicovering new regions of Russia, but even more often Russian business tourism disovers Finnish North.

Many Finnish regions are interested in attracting of visitors from Russia. One of the most perspective regions for tourists is the North of Finland. As representative of the Northern Lapland tourist bureau SannaKortelainen has told the ITAR-TASS correspondent, tourism to Murmansk area is developing actively, however high hopes are also put on other Russian regions.
