A first hostel was opened in Petrozavodsk. It is perfectly located right in the center of the town, the capital of the of Karelia, within a 5 minute walk from the railway station where most tourists arrive at. The hostel belongs to the Jigowatt net. This net offers inexpensive accommodation throughout the area from the White to the Black seas. Hostels in Moscow and Sochi are members of the International Youth Hostelling Organization.
The Hostel is safe with a friendly and helpful English-speaking stuff. It is open 24 hours-a-day 7 days-a-week. A modern newly-renovated hostel offers 2 six-bed dorm rooms and soon 1 two-bed room. It's located just in a few meters from the main walking avenue of Petrozavodsk(Lenin Prospekt) that connects the rail way station and the Onego embarkmen.
The house itself is surrounded by loads of college pubs and cafes filled with beautiful students ready to make new friends.
