This tourist season Valaam guests are offered several-day-long boating and walking tours. Travelling by Corsar motor boats, tourists will get acquainted with architectural monuments of the Valaam Transfiguration of the Saviour monastery, and unique natural complexes of northern Ladoga lakeside.
During excursion over northwest part of Valaam, tourists will see the largest internal lake Sisjдarvi, Konevsky lakes, Shishkin's pine, Vladimir bridge, All Saints and Smolensk sketes; to the southeast from Valaam there are Oboronny island where constructions of the Mannerheim Line remained: two-story underground casemates, cannon positions, artillery tower, and the cut through the rock thickness secret descent to Ladoga lake.
