Prospects of cooperation development in various spheres between Hungary and Karelia were discussed on September, 5th by the Prime Minister of the Government of the republic Pavel Chernov and representatives of the delegation from Hungary.
In particular, during the meeting matters concerned signing the agreement on economic cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and Transport of the Republic of Hungary and the Government of Karelia. Hungary has already concluded Agreements of this kind with 10 regions of Russia. According to the Administrative State Secretary of the Hungarian Prime Minister's Office Djerd Gilian, such documents strengthen trust to the Hungarian business in regions.
In Karelia our partners from Hungary intend to establish cooperation according to Russian standards. They are ready to develop partner relations with our republic, work in the sphere of small and medium business, participate in implementation of tourist projects.
- Our task is to establish trade and economic relations with this country, - Prime Minister of the Government of the republic Pavel Chernov has told. - Hungary offers us credits on terms favourable for the republic, for Karelian businessmen in construction industry, tourism, medical equipment delivery.
Besides, the Hungarian party plans to open so-called information center of Hungary in Petrozavodsk. The network of such centers already exists in several cities of Russia.
