Within the framework of implementation of the system of actions aimed at supporting tourism in the republic this summer Ministry of Economic Development has placed the government order in Scandinavia publishing house for publication of Karelia guidebook in English. The same colourful book in Russian has been published last year at the same publishing house. Now the English version is published. Edition of the guidebook is quite small - only two thousand copies.

The first copies of the book will be distrubuted in London at the World Travel Market exhibition to be held from November 12 to November 15. The Karelia guidebook will be also offered to participants and visitors of the MATKA international tourist exhibition in Helsinki next January.
