At the international check point in Karelia customs employees compliment people with St.George Ribbons.
At the international check point through the Russian-Finnish border in Karelia employees of Kostomuksha customs compliment people coming to the Russian Federation on the Great Victory Day and solemnly present St.George Ribbons to car drivers.
As the the SPB-TASS correspondent was informed in the customs press-service, the St.George Ribbon-2008 patriotic action has begun on the frontier on May 6 and is devoted to the 63 anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
In total in Karelia it is planned to present about 20 tousand St.George Ribbons. The action is initiated of by the State Committee of Karelia on Youth and its motto is My memory, my pride!
