Karelia will start its exhibition season of 2009 in sphere of tourism with participation in the international tourist exhibition MATKA to be held in Helsinki from January 15 to 18. To the Finnish capital ther goes 10 exhibitors, representatives of tourist and hotel organizations, Kizhi open-air museum, information centre and administration of Petrozavodsk urban district. They will place their exhibits at the uniform stand of the republic organized by the Ministry of Economic Development within the scope of implementation of the tourism development regional target program. Area of the exposition of Karelia will make 44 square meters that makes more than one half of the Russian stand.
