On December, 1 Kostomuksha welcomed international seminar on cooperation in the field of tourism between the Province of Kainuu (Finland) and the Republic of Karelia (Russia).
The seminar considered issues of international cooperation in the sphere of tourism between the neighbouring regions, prospects of cross-border tourism development, experience of work in reserves of Kainuu and Karelia.
Representatives of Administration of Kostomuksha urban district, Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Karelia, Union of municipalities of the Province of Kainuu, University of Applied Sciences of Kajaani and entrepreneurs engaged in the sphere of tourism have taken part in work of the seminar.
