Dear citizens of Karelia!
Dear friends!
From the bottom of the heart we congratulate you on the New Year, the most gracious, joyful, favourite and welcome holiday.
The expiring year was troublesome both for the republic, and for the country as a whole. Time and again we had to overcome difficulties, together we have endured several complex junctures, and today we want to say thank you to every citizen of Karelia for support, effort to strive for best results and change life for the better. We are sure that optimism and diligence of our fellow countrymen thanks to which the region lives and develops will not run low.
What the coming year is going to be like? It will pass in the atmosphere of the remarkable event – the 90th anniversary of the republic. We have many good works ahead: opening of new unique objects, implementation of significant projects. 2010 is also the year of the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory, and our common duty is to to lavish attention and care upon our veterans.
The New Year is usually celebrated in a family circle. The New Year's fairy tale, the Christmas tree and gifts is what unites families. With all our hearts we wish love, joy and wellbeing always reign your homes. Let your children make you glad, letm your families live in plenty, and let success be to your efforts! These are wishes we make while the New Year's bells are chiming. Let all our plans come true, let the dreams fulfil!
Happy New Year!
