The Finnish delegation led by the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development of Finland Mr.Paavo Väyrynen will arrive in the Republic of Karelia on a working visit at the end of April, 2010. The delegation will comprise representatives of ministries, as well as a large group of heads of Finnish enterprises representing various spheres of business.

Purpose of the visit is consolidation of contacts between the Finnish enterprises and the Republic of Karelia, creation of new opportunities for business, as well as studying investment and economic potential of the republic and condition of cooperation development projects. 
 
During the visit members of the delegation plan to conduct negotiations in the Government of Karelia, organize meetings with interested representatives of Karelian enterprises in the Business Forum format, visit the Petrozavodskmash enterprise, the IT-park of Petrozavodsk State University, and the Stora Enso enterprise in the settlement of Impilahti of Pitkäranta region and the factory of Rapala in Sortavala.
