Tourist fair Sortavala – TOP (Tourism, Recreation, Holiday) – 2010 organized by the Tourist Association of Sortavala and the branch of the Information Tourist Center of the Republic of Karelia State Institution at the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Karelia and the Administrationи of Sortavala metropolitan region was held in Sortavala, the second large tourost center in Karelia, on the eve of the summer holiday season.
Held for the first time the fair Sortavala – TOP – 2010 has become a momentous event for the regions of Northern Ladoga Lakeside. More than 20 travel agencies, service enterprises, educational institutions from Sortavala, Olonets, Pitkäranta regions an Petrozavodsk city have taken part in the fair.
Visitors of the fair could get acquainted with the tourist potential of Northern Ladoga Lakeside and services rendered by enterprises in the sphere of tourism, recreation, hospitality and education. The fair contributed to information and advertising promotion of tourist offers of Northern Ladoga Lakeside.
Organizers plan to hold the Tourist fair Sortavala – TOP annually.
