The festival will be devoted to celebrating the National Unity Day. At the festival national cultures of Karelians, Vepsians, Russians, Finns, Ukrainians, Georgians, Jews, Armenians will be presented.
The festival gala performance will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Center of Culture and Sports Friendship. Art collectives of Petrozavodsk, folk and ethnographic ensemble Karelskaya Gornitsa and the Russian Song Chorus of (Kostomuksha) will take part in the concert. Also within the scope of the festival trade exhibition of Karelian arts and crafts will open and a meeting of chairmen of national and cultural societies and autonomies of Petrozavodsk with representatives of national public organizations of Kostomuksha will take place.
The festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Public Relations of the Republic of Karelia, the the State Committee of the RK on National Politics, the Republican Center of National Cultures, national and cultural public organizations of the region, administration of Kostomuksha urban district, the Culture and Museum Center of Kostomuksha and the Center of Culture and Sports Friendship of Karelsky Okatysh, Inc.
