Waterfall KivachSome scientists claim that the Karelian word "kivas" - "a snow mountain" - gave the name to Kivach, the second plain waterfall in Europe after the Rhine waterfall. The beautiful "diamond mountain" surrounded by unique scenery has always evoked high emotions. In 1931 the Republic declared the Kivach waterfall a reserved territory. |
